Inspired by fruit, hobnail glass, and ancient mediterranean pottery, the Storm Hobnail Vessel is a rotund and bumpy vessel glazed with a cobalt blue satin glaze. First the form is sketched then sculpted, with adjustments made as it takes shape. The glaze is then chosen after a series of experiments and tests, resulting in a one-of-a-kind work.
